Human beings
have come to believe
that our bodies
do not amount to much..
We’ve reduced
them down dumbly
to sight, smell
sound, taste
and touch.
Forgetting
the most important part,
the sixth sense
that connects us
all via heart.
Inside its beat
there is a never ending song,
humming through our veins
guiding us through life
to where we belong.
We’ve been trained
to question our worth,
forgetting the inherit value
we’ve been given at birth.
In the disremembrance
of who we are
we began to equate ourselves
to our trauma, pain, and scars,
erasing ourselves from
from God’s memoirs,
forfeiting our crowns,
thinking our atoms
are separate from the stars.
Humans are an
intelligent life force
ignorant to our roots,
forgetting that the seed
is the tree and the branches
and the leaves and the limbs
and inevitably the fruits.
Do you suppose
that the rest
of the ecosystem knows
that there is no seperation
from the light and its glow?
That all that is needed
is provided for free
and all that there
is to know
is already inside of me…
Well technically you,
since we are one in the same.
All connected on
one big playground
playing one big game.
A game of seperation
due to a system of names,
creator vs art
lover vs heart
God vs body
when all should be embodied.
All one in the same,
from beginning to end
and back to the start
I guess, what fun is
finding yourself, after all,
if you are never apart.
