I’m Nikayla:
A 27 year old Leo/Libra/Leo
from Las Vegas, Nevada who
attended Virginia State University
earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in
Mechanical Engineering Technology and
pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
and later joined the Army National Guard.
I grew up in a ‘in-between’ era,
where childhood consisted of
both playgrounds and cell phones.
My love for aesthetics began with
drawings and MySpace backgrounds,
blooming into blogs and mood boards.
I am someone who enjoys simple details
like minimalism,
calligraphy, gardening,
organizing, and pondering.
In 2021, I felt called to create
an online space that was entirely my own,
somewhere I could thoughtfully design
every detail and fully express myself.

Via Calore is the sun in the sky
the warmth in the body
the presence in the mind.
When I am writing,
my intention is to be
softly insightful in
sharing reflections or
showing reverence
to life, love, and God.

always being refined.
