Divine Timing

Faith

is ancient as breath and

as unseen as the wind,

yet it is the strongest force

on Earth.

When lifted and exalted,

faith becomes a compass.

When lived and exercised,

faith becomes a mountain, unmovable.

Spring unfolds.

Equinox balances.

The Son arrives,

all on their own time.

Heaven is always on time.

Still,

we strain against the clock,

mistaking delay for denial,

and missing miracles

because they don’t arrive

how we expected.

Faith

is freedom

from preference;

loosening the grip on life,

softening the need to control.

Allowing the unknown to unfold.

Faith

knows there is a hand

greater than ours,

weaving a life

more beautiful

than we could ever design.

What is yours

does not wander,

it does not waver.

Patient as the planets,

it’s continually orbits us,

occasionally checking in

to see if we’re ready to receive.

Faith is the sum

of days that didn’t stop you.

Faith is the sun,

still rising, even after the longest night.

This little light

cuts through shadows,

thaws cold feet,

and slays demons.

This little light

is a mustard seed.

We are an extension of God.

There is a greater Source,

and the One that holds all things,

and still always,

endlessly

considers you.

Where is your faith?

Arrive to the edge

of all that you know

with the knowing that

you will be given wings to fly

or a soft place to land.

Move

as if mountains are illusions.

Speak

as if worry has no language.

Believe

as if every step forward

is guided by a quiet promise.

A promise to

surprise you,

delight you,

and meet you

right on time.
